Why a new energy label?

Starting 1 March, 2021 according to a new European regulation, all household appliances will change their energy class efficiency. Suppliers will have two weeks to replace old labels with new ones with few exceptions (such as models that are out of production). The change is aimed at the development of increasingly energy efficient appliances and also to make clear distinctions among the types of appliances. For Haier this is a big opportunity: all our innovative and high-quality products are compliant with the new regulations as an evidence of the brand's commitment to the protection of the environment. The return of A-G scale

The return of the scale from A to G was necessary in order to have a better and clearer understanding of the label compared to the old scale.

Connect to energy efficiency

Now you can scan a QR Code that allows you to find official and non-commercial information. Moreover, you have the opportunity to download each data sheets for all appliances.

Noise rating icon

Silence the noise

A very useful indication, which measures noise emission during the cycle. It is expressed in db(A).

Storage volume icon

Discover real storage

This feature is specifically for refrigerators and freezers. It accuratly indicates the total volume of their compartments.

Main changes for Cooling and Washing

From now on, cooling and washing appliances have new and more detailed requirements that make it easier to determine in which energy class each product belongs. Let's see the main changes.

Fresh and clear cooling

From now on, identifying the energy class has become a more comprehensive process. It takes into account the type of appliance, its operating principle, the room temperature, and the number and size of storage compartments. Moreover, information on the total volume of all refrigerator and freezer compartments are provided and, if there are any, on noise emissions.

Eco-washing is now even greener

In this category, there was a major change in the Eco program. The new “Eco 40-60” program is the most efficient program for energy and water saving and it is calculated by the consumption needed for washing soiled fabrics made of cotton, linen or mixed fibres.
