The Delivery Technicians will conduct a dynamic risk assessment throughout the delivery / installation process. They reserve the right to not fulfil services if there is a safety / quality risk.

Freestanding Fridge & Freezer Delivery
Our Service for you

•    Send a skilled Home Delivery Technician who will take your new fridge / freezer to a room of your choice, unpackage and place it where required, adjusting the feet to make sure it’s level.

•    Take away and recycle all the unwanted external packaging.

•    If you’ve ordered an American Fridge Freezer, we may need to remove its doors to help get it inside but don’t worry once your fridge freezer’s in place we’ll reattach everything.

Freestanding Fridge & Freezer Installation
•    If your new fridge / freezer has a water dispenser, we will hook it up to a pre-existing cold-water supply. Please check the manufacturers website to see how close your new fridge / freezer needs to be to the water supply.

•    If the water supply is not close enough a plumber will be required to adapt the pipework before the delivery is made

•    If you have chosen Removal & Recycling, we’ll take your old fridge / freezer when we leave.

•    We take pictures of all of our installations so we can keep a record of the service.

What you need to do
To help towards a successful delivery there are a number of things for you to please check:
•    Our delivery experts will require clear access so we can safely bring your new fridge / freezer from your property entrance to the room of your choice.

•    Make sure that your old fridge / freezer is unplugged and out of the way when we arrive.

•    Carefully check the dimensions of your new fridge / freezer on the manufacture’s website, just to make sure you’ve got enough space in your room of choice.

•    You’ll need a standard three-pin electric socket to be within one metre of where your new fridge / freezer will be.

•    If you’ve chosen Removal & Recycling, make sure your old fridge / freezer is disconnected, empty & fully defrosted when we arrive (if not, unfortunately we won’t be able to take the old appliance).

•    When we’ve finished the set up of your new fridge / freezer, you’ll need to leave it to stand for 4 hours to let the cooling gases settle before you turn it on.

There are a few things we don’t do
•    We don’t switch your new fridge or freezer on as it needs 4 hours to settle in to its new home.

•    We don’t make any changes to your property including, fixings, pipework, cabinetry or removal of any internal or external doors to gain access.

•    We’ll happily take away all the external packaging but we’ll leave any internal packaging to you.

•    The fridges / freezers we install all require a standard three-pin electric plug socket. We don’t hardwire any of these appliances.

•    If access is restricted, or if the weather is bad and we need to remove the fridge / freezer doors, occasionally we may not be able to complete the delivery to avoid damaging the appliance.
