Haier’s Fresher Shield protects your frozen food and lowers energy consumption during the automatic defrosting process. By preventing heat entering from the outside and cold air from escaping as frost is removed, a stopper near the evaporator is able to reduce temperature fluctuations, lowering the risk of your food suffering from 'thermal shock', an effect that can have a detrimental effect on its storage life and flavour. Thanks to the Fresher Shield, the stabilised temperature means your stored food maintains its qualities up to 2 times* longer than a regular freezer.
